It's much cheaper and a great way to save money if you just buy a whole chicken instead of buying individual parts, really... All you need to do is get your chicken and cut a whole bird up yourself!
Cutting a chicken yourself will give you a whole bunch of chicken stock out of it, plus nothing is wasted. Hence, that's the best part in cutting a chicken into pieces and it's even very economical rather than to buy separate chicken's breasts and thighs.

But, how to cut up a chicken?

You don't really need a special skill to cut a chicken. You just have to get a sharp knife and a kitchen shear or scissor. It's pretty easy, actually.

I know, there are plenty of ways of how to cutting chicken on the web. You even can find and learn about easy way to cut a whole chicken, so that you can do it yourself easily at home. Well, there is nothing wrong for each of us in concerning the ways we're using now (or long time ago) of how to cutting chicken, but at least we'll know the most simple easy, neat and clean method of cutting a chicken. Besides, it helps a lot more to save our time and energy, plus to reduce the mess which we all don't know that we're going to make.

So, hopefully this will help you to get started with the very best easy way to cut a whole chicken yourself at the kitchen!

You can learn through the instructions below : 
  • Put your chicken with its breast side up, then pull each leg away from the body. Start slice using a knife through the skin between each breast and drumstick.
  • Turn your chicken on its side, bend each leg to the back until the thighbone pops out from its socket, then cut through the joint and skin to remove each leg entirely.
  • With your chicken still on its side, pull each wing away from the body, then slice through the joint to cut off wing.
  • Put up your chicken and place it on the neck end. Use a kitchen shear to cut downward through the rib cage, followed by the shoulder joints to split up the breast from back (Save the back for stock).
  • Position the breast skin side down and with a chopping motion, rip the center bone with heavy knife, then cut through meat and skin to divide into 2 pieces.
  • Turn each skin side up, then cut up in half diagonally through the bone to make up the breast halves into quarters.
  • To split the legs, turn each skin side down. Slice through the joints (along the white fat line) to detach the thigh from drumstick.
  • You should finish up with 6 to 10 chicken's parts, subject to whether you separated the breast halves and legs.

Coconut Macaroons

I really love chewy coconut macaroons! They're obviously easy coconut cookies you can make in the kitchen, whenever you feel like to taste a sweet and supreme coconut flavour dessert at anytime.

You really don't have to do or need lots of things to make those easy coconut macaroons, actually. You only need some shredded coconut, egg whites and sugar along with vanilla extract or other flavouring. That's all!

It's just an easy coconut macaroons recipe if you want to make simple and delightful plain coconut macaroons that are easily can be shaped into round balls, small pyramids or any other different shapes as you like.

One lovely thing is you also can dress them up by dipping them into some melted chocolate or milk before serving!


So now, how to make coconut macaroons? First, here are things you need before you can make those easy coconut cookies...

3 cups shredded coconut (sweetened or unsweetened)
2 large egg whites
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Next, you'll have to do these few things for sure...

Preheat oven to 325F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Spread your shredded coconut on a cutting board and coarsely chop it with a knife to break up the larger shreds of coconut.

In a medium bowl, whisk together egg whites, sugar and vanilla until well blended. Add in shredded coconut and stir with a spatula until well moistened.

Place level 1/4 cup scoops of the coconut mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Pack the macaroons together with your fingers (forming the mix into pyramid shapes).

Bake for about 20 minutes, until macaroons are golden brown around the edges (time will vary slightly by size of the cookies). Cool completely on a wire rack.

Pastina With Egg

I would be very happy and excited if I could make a little change in the morning. I'm thinking of, let us just put away the usual hot cereal for awhile as we're going to change that into something which is creamy, quick and simple for breakfast!... Shall we?

I bet you've heard this little tiny pastina pasta before and yes, we're going to make this easy pastina! So now you asking, how to cook pastina?

Believe me, I never thought that this can be really easy and healthy for you and me. So, if you already have your pastina pasta in the kitchen cabinet, some eggs and cheese in the fridge then you're ready to go!

There are many different ways of cooking pastina where some people may like to add they own preferred ingredients or any other things into their pastina pasta. Of course, there is nothing wrong with that as for myself, I love to have pastina with egg and cheese!

I'll say this pastina recipe is great if you're searching for easy pastina recipe. Not only it's quick and easy to make or prepare but it's also healthy. Easy and healthy pastina with egg and cheese, just like what I love to say it!


This is really a simple and easy pastina recipe. You only need some of these things to cook pastina pasta at home!...

1/4 cup uncooked pastina pasta
1 egg
1 tablespoon parmesan cheese
1/4 cup milk, plus more if needed
1/2 teaspoon chopped fresh tarragon
2 teaspoons butter
Salt and pepper to taste

Next, here are simple instructions you can do easily in cooking pastina...

Cook the pastina in a small saucepan according to the package instructions. Drain pasta.

While the pasta is cooking, beat together the egg, parmesan cheese, 1/4 cup milk, and tarragon.

While the pasta is draining, melt the butter in the saucepan over medium heat.

Add the drained pasta to the pan.

Pour in the egg mixture while stirring constantly. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes until the cheese begins to melt (the egg will cook in the process).

Season with salt and pepper.

Stir in additional warm milk if desired for a creamier consistency.

Enjoy immediately.

Baked Chicken With Tomatoes, Basil And Red Chillies

I thought it was something that looks like as it was the very main dish on the table at first glance...

I mean, a kind of special main dish of baked chicken pieces with vegetables in a large pan seems to make you spend more time preparing the meal in the kitchen.

Anyway while it does look like main dish to me, I'm surprised and excited that this yummy looking baked chicken with tomatoes is actually very quick to prepare and easy to make! It just that chicken arranged in the pan with tomatoes, basil and red chillies then just hit the oven.

It's a great oven baked chicken recipe if you think of preparing easy baked chicken that works in any ways whether you want to prepare the meal as the main dish or the other in a dinner with family, in any occasions with family and friends or to be served to guests!

Good thing is just throw everything into the pan in 6 minutes. It still comes out very good although the oven isn't done preheating yet. Simply hit into oven and you'll have easy oven baked chicken for your dinner ready in 45 minutes to an hour.


So, the ingredients that you'll need for the baked chicken recipe are...

3.5 Ibs. skinless bone-in chicken thighs (about 8)
1 pint grape tomatoes
1-2 red chillies, sliced (don't even bother to remove the seeds)
15 large basil leaves (torn up a bit) plus 10-12 smaller ones for garnish
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. coarse black pepper

Next, here are the things you'll need to know on how to bake chicken...

Preheat oven to 425F.

Arrange chicken pieces in a single layer in a large rimmed pan or baking dish (12" cast iron skillet). Topple in the tomatoes. Skatter everything with the chillie slices and the 15 large basil leaves. Drizzle with the olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Bake until chicken is cooked through, about 45 minutes to an hour. The chillies and basil leaves will be blackened. But they taste good, don't worry. Scatter the remaining 10-12 basil leaves over top before serving.
